The introduction of CaCo3 in the paste reduces swelling related to the kaolin and quartz moisture. This means that there is a smaller variation in size of the pieces and consequently fewer failures in the final product.

Used as a support for the pieces during the kiln phase, as an inner liner or as a roll in the oven feed line. They are characterized by their high resistance to extreme temperatures, as well as to the heating and cooling cycles observed in the kiln stage.
