It was at the last edition of Chinacoat held in the city of Guangzhou, Salmon had the opportunity to meet a new and innovative business partner: Tynox – Opacity Innovation Solution Partner.
Tynox stands out in the global market as a solid and innovative alternative to traditional titanium dioxide, offering a TiO2 substitute with excellent technical performance and competitive pricing, which represents a direct added value in the production process — an increasingly critical factor in margin management and competitiveness in the sector.

Among its offering, the X-PAQUE and X-Pure ranges stand out. These were designed to revolutionize the handling of TiO2 particles, resulting in consistent levels of opacity, while reducing the amount of TiO2 required. The X-PAQUE range improves the distribution and orientation of TiO2 particles, resulting in better light scattering properties. When integrated into a formula, it allows for effective cost reduction without compromising the quality of the final product. With X-PAQUE, the paint volume increases due to its lower relative density compared to TiO2, offering another economic advantage. The X-Pure line improves opacity, particle orientation and gloss.
With this new partnership, Salmon reinforces its ongoing commitment to seeking innovative, sustainable and economically advantageous solutions for the Paints sector.
