CITE, the Portuguese Commission for Equality in Work and Employment, has distinguished Salmon for its good practices in promoting gender equality, certifying Salmon as a COMPANY THAT PROMOTES EQUAL PAY BETWEEN WOMEN AND MEN 2022.

This certification is particularly relevant when we consider that the pay gap between women and men in Portugal increased between 2019 and 2020, from 10.9% to 11.4%, respectively (source: Prodata). This corresponds to a loss of pay for women equivalent to 51 days. Unfortunately, when compared with 2006, we note that the gap has widened further.
